Our story

SAHCO designs its training courses exclusively to suit the customer’s history, decision-making structure, strategic plan, resources and skills.

SAHCO Consulting is an expertise company in risk management for a wide variety of stakeholders including: humanitarian and development agencies, civil society and UN organizations, journalists and human rights and environmental defenders. Thanks to our extensive network and operational experience worldwide, we are able to provide solutions tailored to the specific risks of each country, region or geopolitical context and to the needs of each customer or stakeholders.

In an increasingly complex environment, international and national aid agencies must constantly adapt their way of working and their security risk management strategies. They must also strengthen their logistical systems and resources to prevent and manage critical incidents and improve the training of their field staff. We also contribute to reducing violence against journalists (especially women), legal harassment, misinformation and censorship.

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), and Reporters sans Frontières, on December 1, 2022, 363 journalists were incarcerated for practicing their profession, more than a quarter of whom were imprisoned during the year, and 14 journalists were killed in 2023 simply for doing their job. This is why protecting journalists and guaranteeing freedom of the press is a crucial priority for the SAHCO Consulting team.
